Join us for a special community screening of incredible short film 'Regenerating Australia' under the stars at The Apollonian Hotel - presented by Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation and Country Noosa. This is an uplifting and solutions-based film from Damon Gameau, the award-winning director of '2040' and 'That Sugar Film'. It is a story of empowerment. A story of solutions. A story of regeneration.

While the screening starts at 6pm, come along from 4pm - there will be information stalls, music and tasty local food. Special guest David 'Rasta' Rastovich. And remember to BYO rug to sit on.

About ’Regenerating Australia’ (Rated PG)

Set on New Year’s Eve of December 2029, a news anchor is ending the nightly bulletin with a look back at the decade ‘that could be’. A decade that saw Australia transition to a fairer, cleaner, more community focused economy. The film is a construction of news reports and press conferences featuring Kerry O’Brien, Sandra Sully, Tim Flannery, Larissa Behrendt, David Pocock and other well-known voices. The film is based on a four-month ‘listening campaign’ with a diverse group of Australians who shared their hopes and dreams for the country’s future.

The silent cinema experience gives you control. Grab your wireless headphones on entry and adjust your volume without disturbing others. External noises will disappear and allow you to enjoy the movie in peace. Plus, it's a pretty fun experience!

Bring your appetite as Gasworks restaurants will be preparing amazing meals and treats to delight all.
